All nodes suddenly stopped working.

Before you refresh anything

If you connect through a subscription URL in a third-party client (Clash, Shadowrocket, sing-box, v2rayN and similar), do not press "update subscription" or force-refresh yet. Subscription links are deactivated by default: pulling one before you press Activate in the client area returns nothing usable and can leave you with an empty node list. Turn off auto-update first and follow step 4 below.

If you use the official VilaNet app this warning does not apply — the app retrieves the current node list securely on its own, with no subscription link to import and no activation step.

1. Check your service first

  • Open My ServicesService Details in the client area and check your remaining traffic. When the traffic allowance is used up, every node stops working at once.
  • Confirm the service itself is active and not suspended.
  • If you bought a new service while an older one was suspended or out of traffic, select the new active service on the service details page, or choose a node under the active service in your client app — otherwise the client may still be pointed at the old one.

2. Check your device clock

An inaccurate clock makes every node fail at the same time, which is exactly the symptom described here. Your time zone does not matter — only UTC accuracy does.

  • VMess is rejected once your clock differs from the server's by more than about 120 seconds.
  • Shadowsocks 2022 is stricter: about 30 seconds.
  • TLS-based protocols (Hysteria2, AnyTLS, Trojan, VLESS over TLS) check the server certificate's validity dates against your device clock; if the clock is far enough off, the handshake fails before any traffic flows.

Turn on automatic date and time on your device, then restart the client and reconnect. Step-by-step instructions for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS: Why can an incorrect system clock prevent VPN connections?

3. Use the official VilaNet app

  • Some nodes are APP-only. They no longer appear in subscription-URL clients at all, so a node list that suddenly looks short or dead may simply no longer contain the nodes you were using. Customers on the official app continue to see all available nodes.
  • VilaNet needs no subscription link and no activation — you log in and connect. To resync the server list, use the Refresh button on the home screen.
  • If your client reports "All servers are unavailable", install the latest VilaNet and log in again.
  • Get VilaNet from the App Store (iOS/macOS/tvOS, a non-China Apple ID is required), Google Play, or the official releases page for every other platform. GitHub may require a VPN to open from mainland China; if you cannot reach it, open a support ticket.

4. For existing subscription-URL customers (V2Ray and third-party clients)

V2Ray service is closed to new orders, but existing services keep working. If you still connect with a subscription URL, refresh it in this order:

  1. Turn off "auto update" in your third-party client, so it cannot pull the link while the link is deactivated.
  2. Log in to the client area, open the service and press Activate. The link stays active for 5 minutes and then expires again automatically.
  3. Within those 5 minutes, update the subscription in your client.

Subscription links are deactivated by default because automated scanners were collecting them and exposing node IP addresses, which got those addresses blocked. Even after a correct activation, APP-only nodes will still not appear in a third-party client — only the official app shows the full list.

Still not working?

Open a support ticket from the client area and tell us your platform, which client you use, and whether you connect through the VilaNet app or a subscription URL.
